Black Dots and Grids

An abstract circle and grid batik. The fabric has a mix of yellow, purple and green dots against a blue-black background.  This batik fabric is handmade in Southern Nigeria, West Africa, with the design, a modern take on traditional batik fabric. The fabric is a medium-weight 100% cotton with a soft drape.

The fabric is 48 inches in width and is available in two lengths. You can choose between a 2.4-yard (2.2 metre) length or a 4.8-yard (4.4 metre) length.

To get an idea of the scale of the patterns, a tape rule is shown in the last images with units shown in inches.

COLOURS: We photograph the fabric in natural daylight and make every effort to represent the colours as accurately as possible, nevertheless colours may display differently depending on the monitors/screens they are viewed on. Also, if you have purchased this fabric before, it will not be exactly the same as the one shown. Due to the unpredictable and organic nature of the dyeing process of batik, the outcome often varies.
