This listing is for one Fat Quarter which is 18 x 24 inches (45 x 60 cm). A fat quarter is a small piece of fabric, a quarter of a yard which is great for smaller sewing projects as an alternative to buying a whole yard or metre of fabric. If you order more than one, you will receive each cut piece as a fat quarter.

I have always thought of this print as a leopard print and African prints, over time acquire different names in different African countries and markets. This one is known as Household Gravel or Family Gravel. This is said to represent the gravel around a house. As gravel is also sharp it is said to describe the immediate family. ‘It is sometimes sharp and can cut deeply’. This is because those closest to us can cause us the most pain. Interesting!
