Orange and Blue Floral Kitenge

A vibrant orange and blue kitenge fabric from Tanzania.

This fabric is sold by the yard which is approximately 0.9 metres. Use the arrows above to select the number of yards you need and a continuous length of fabric will be sent to you. You can also buy the bundle which is 6 yards (5.5 metres) for a small saving. You will find the options in the drop-down menu.

We are constantly exploring new sources of fabric from African countries and this one is a new supplier in Tanzania. It is slightly lighter in weight than our other West African prints and the fabric is stiff when new. The recommendation is that you wash it at 40 degrees before sewing. This will remove the stiffness and makes it nice and soft.
