Terracotta and Cream Brushstrokes Batik

A bold and modern handmade batik fabric from Nigeria. This African batik comes in a unique combination of peachy orange and cream brushstrokes across an almost black background. It really is like a piece of art.

This particular fabric is additionally versatile as you can choose to use either side of the fabric. One side is a crisper version  of the patterns with more orange while the other side is slightly more varied and darker with more blue-black where you can see more of the melted wax effect in the finish.

The fabric is 48 inches in width and you can choose between two lengths. Either a 2.4 yard (2.2 metre) length or a 4.8 yard (4.4 metre) length. To give you an idea of the scale of the patterns, a tape measure is shown in the last image with units displayed in inches and centimetres.
