Fabric Friday: Etu Aso-Oke
Here’s to the first Friday of the year! Hope everyone is off to a good start. This Friday we are introducing a new beauty to you. It is a brand new Etu Aso-oke woven in the traditional colours of Aso-oke. This one is like the classic Etu which usually comes in deep blue, said to be the blue found on the plumage of a guinea fowl and has deep maroon and blue stripes running down the centre.
So what outfit or sewing project do you have in mind? If you are thinking of going traditional and making a Yoruba outfit, check out our quick guide below as to the quantities needed for each piece.
