Look What They Made! Diamonds and Stars Wax Print
We are back from our market hopping in Nigeria for African print fabrics just for you. We just listed the Diamond and stars wax print brand new in store this week and I was more than pleased to see examples of how designers have made use of this beautiful fabric. You have got to love Pinterest for all the great finds that are available there.
First check out this lovely summer dress by Bow Afrika Fashion. On first glance, I think the fabric motifs are slightly larger in the version of the fabric that has been used here. Nevertheless, it is quite similar and most of all, a funky dress with a print on print feature.
I also came across the work of Nash Prints It which incorporates the fabric in pieces in their 2015 Collection Diane. I especially love the funky print shirt. Check out their entire collection and more on www.nashprintsit.com
What would you make with this wax print fabric? Do share ideas of your upcoming projects with us.
