In our day to day running of the business, we receive and send out a lot of packages. From envelopes, to boxes, wraps, bags, ties and more. We have decided to take a more interesting approach to how these are managed in order to do our bit and reduce waste. Here are a few things we now do.
Where possible, we will repurpose and reuse clean packaging that we receive so look out for creative ways we send out your orders.
We have stopped placing your fabric in clear plastic bags that go within the mailing bag. As most people wash the fabric before it is used we are confident that the mailing bag is adequate in protecting the fabric.
We will use compostable and degradable mailing bags for most packages. We will also use paper envelopes and cardboard boxes.
