Black Adire

A striking black adire fabric from Nigeria with a colourful mix  of dots and spots against a black background. This wax-resist fabric is made using 100% cotton. It is a light/medium weight fabric and suitable for dressmaking, quilting, crafting and many more sewing projects.

The fabric is 48 inches (1.2 metres) in width and is available in two lengths. You can choose between a 2.4 yard (2.2 metre) length or a 4.8 yard (4.4 metre) length using the drop-down menu. A tape measure is shown in the last image to give you an idea of the scale of the patterns and motifs on the fabric. The units shown are in centimetres and inches.
