Fabric of the Week: Speedbird Ankara Print
Absolutely one of our favourite prints ever is the Speedbird ankara print. In Ghana, it is a called a phrase that translates to ‘Money has Wings’. This speaks of being careful with money; ‘rich today, poor tomorrow’, as money has wings and if one is not careful, it will fly away!.
Whenever we see it in an interesting colourway, we stock it! So we will always have this print in available and one combination might be the one just for you.
We have some really funky makes from you, using this print. Annibale cycling does the coolest cycling caps and bags.
For even more inspiration, check out our Speedbird inspired Pinterest board. Loads of examples of how people have used the fabric, might spark some ideas for you. If you have used this print and would like to share with us on the blog, please drop us an email or send a message via Instagram. We would love to feature you.
